Robert John Forsman, 83, a resident of Round Lake Park, IL, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born May 13, 1933 in Detroit, MI. His parents, Alpheld and Edward Forsman, raised their family in Crystal Falls, MI where Robert had many fond memories. Robert served in the Korean War, and was very proud to be able to defend his country. Robert retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service.  Robert is survived by his son Joseph (Jennifer), his grandchildren Joshua, Jacob (Katherine), Ethan, and Matthew. He is also survived by his sisters Marge Farmer and Phyllis Batdorff, as well as many extended family members. Richard James Kuzmanoff, 66, a resident of Third Lake, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL.  He was born January 11, 1951 in Gary, IN to Chris and Louise Kuzmanoff.  Richard was retired from CNA Insurance and XL Catlin Group.  Richard is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anna, his sons Joseph, Christopher (Misty), Alexander (Casandra), Richard Jr. (Chika), and Douglas, his grandchildren Anastasia, Oliver, Sloan, Hazel, Kairu, Kazuru, and Kanasa, and his siblings Jeff (Susan), Kathryn (Jim) Russell, Nancy, and Amy (Matt) Dippel.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Chris, Jim, and Russell.  A memorial visitation and service is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a memorial service commencing at 12:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Paul Martin Busch, 30, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away April 14, 2017 at his home.  He was born May 6, 1986 in McHenry, IL to Martin Busch and Pamela (nee: Lavallee) Blair.  Paul was a member of the Local 802 Painter’s Union, taking pride in all his painting jobs.  He enjoyed fishing with his friends and wife.  His Mustang was his favorite item in life.  He enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash and the Doors.  Paul was a handyman and enjoyed grilling.  Paul was the life of the party, he would walk into a room full of people and make the whole room smile.  Most of all he loved his children and his wife.  Paul is survived by his wife, Tasha, they were together 10 years and met when they were 16, his children James, Johnathan, Liliana, Tony, and Jackson, his father, Martin Busch, his great-grandma Helen Busch, his brother Randall Grayburn, his step-sister Angela Blair, step-dad Timothy Blair, step-mother Sherri Busch, his nephew Mason Grayburn, his aunts Karen Sparks and Carol Gurgal, his cousin Adena Sparks,  and his father-in-law Juan Zavala. LeRoy O’Dell. Sandra Lee Marsceau (nee Casey), passed away peacefully at The Village of Victory Lakes on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Lindenhurst at the age of 61. Jerry A. Joan Audrey Martin passed away on Sunday, April 23^rd 2017 in Libertyville Illinois. She was born December 6, 1929 in Toronto Canada, the younger of 2 children to Arthur and Lillian Ockenden.  In 1951 she married Harold Ross who was a member of her local Church youth group and later moved to Niagara Falls New York and began a family. Joan was a devoted wife, special mother, adoring grandmother, delighted great grandmother and faithful Christian who spent her life in the service of Jesus Christ and the Christian Church. Michael T. Dan L. Platek, 73, a resident of Grayslake, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2017, surrounded by his family, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born February 4, 1944 in Chicago, IL. Dan was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods, IL. Dan owned Ace Vacuum in Highland Park and retired three years ago. He received his Associate’s Degree from Morton College. Dan loved and was devoted to his church family. He liked to fish, loved to travel, enjoyed talking politics, really loved his dog Suni, but most of all loved his family. Kenneth Bernard Yopp, 81, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born March 17, 1936 at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan to Bernard H. and Mary R. Yopp.  Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Grayslake.  He was a board member and volunteer with the Grayslake Historical Society for 20 years, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and a member of the Chicago Truckdrivers Union.  Kenneth drove truck for Gefco Manufacturing Company in Grayslake for 44 years.  He was an avid motorcyclist and loved to sing for anyone who would listen.  Kenneth is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia, whom he wed on July 28, 1956 at St. Gilbert Church in Grayslake, his children Linda (Peter) Fassbinder of Grayslake, Sandra (Timothy) Smyth of Grayslake, and James (Theresa) Yopp of Lake Villa, his grandchildren Amy (Chris) Acker of Grayslake, Melissa (Jacob) Ellington of Grayslake, Nicholas Fassbinder of McHenry, Branden Yopp of Ingleside, Kurtis (Rachel) Smyth of Kewanee, Kyle Smyth of Grayslake, Andrew Yopp of McHenry, and Sarah Yopp of Lake Villa, his great-grandchildren Summer and Lukas Acker, Bryce and Blake Yopp, Gabriel Ellington, Kendall Smyth, his sister Marilyn (Doug) Fraser of York, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard H. and Mary R. Norman C. Geary, formerly of Grayslake, passed away peacefully Friday morning, April 28, 2017 in Bellaire, Texas with his oldest son, Robert, by his side.  Norman was born to James Henry Geary and Ruby Smith Geary on June 23, 1923 in Grayslake. Norman served in WWII in the Navy (Merchant Marines).  He then received his Bachelor of Philosophy from Illinois Wesleyan in 1946 with a major in business administration.  He returned to Grayslake and married Marilyn Hook in 1952.  They had five beloved children, Robert John (Jeanneatte) Geary of Houston, Texas, Diane Fox (Eric) Thurman of Algonquin, James Norman (Cynthia) Geary of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Barbara Lynn Geary who preceded him in death and Kathryn Ann (Curtis) Olson of Hopkinton, Mass.  They also had nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  He later married Virginia Harrington Geary who preceded him in death.  Two brothers, Francis and Adelbert (Del), also preceded him in death.  His career in public service included representing Avon Township as their Supervisor and he was a long standing member of the Lake County Board serving two terms as Chairman.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Donations can be made in Norman’s name to the Preservation Foundation of The Lake County Forest Preserves, 1899 W. James E. Virginia M. Nash-Del Vescovo 90, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.  She was born October 11, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Matthew and Anna Jacob.  Virginia’s lifelong passion was playing the piano and singing. An avid churchgoer, she sang in many choirs and was often the soloist.  She loved to dance as well as entertain.
