Carolyn Sue (Bennett) Schuldt, age 81, of Grayslake, IL, passed away into the arms of her Lord on October 2, 2021, surrounded by her daughter, Deborah, and three sons Duane, Dirk, and Darryl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. She is survived by her children, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-one (plus three on the way) great grandchildren.
Carolyn was born in Nashville, TN to William and Cora Bennett. She was passionate about caring for others and had an entrepreneurial spirit. She became a Registered Nurse, a Nurse Practitioner, and earned a bachelor’s degree of science from Roosevelt University. She started Allied Home Health in 1979, served as a missionary in Haiti, and traveled around the world serving along her husband with Willow Creek Community Church.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those who knew her.
A memorial service is scheduled on Saturday, October 9th at 1 pm at Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church (32475 N. Alleghany Road, Grayslake, IL). Following the service, the family is hosting a reception at her home. All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.
